For the IDEAS program, registration is straightforward since the first semester curriculum is fairly standard and pre-specified.
All IDEAS students must select IDEA 011 - IDEAS Seminar I (2 credits). The normal first semester course registration will include MATH 021 (Calculus I) and PHY 011 & 012 (Introductory Physics I and Lab). Students with AP credit for Physics or Physics and Chemistry will register for different science courses in Chemistry or Physics depending on the amount of AP credit.
Keep in mind that you will have an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor during orientation (Friday afternoon, August 23rd), so you can make changes then. You may also make changes during the first two weeks of the semester (the DROP/ADD period).
If you have any questions, contact Professor William Best.
