Before proceeding through registration, we recommend that you review the information you received in your welcome kit. Please use the worksheet in the front section of the booklet to help you with your selections. The registration process will end on July 31, 2019.
Keep in mind that you will have an opportunity to meet with an academic advisor during orientation (Friday afternoon, August 23rd), so you can make changes then. You also can make changes during the first two weeks of the semester (the DROP/ADD period).
You are strongly encouraged to check your Lehigh email address for important correspondence over the summer - this is considered our primary and official form of communication.
Please read all the information provided to guide you in your course selection. Our information for new students and undergraduate studies pages can also direct you to helpful information. If you have questions, please contact the Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences email; one of our faculty advisors will get back to you with answers soon (remember that the portal provides email access).
In general, the only required courses for the first semester are ENGL 001 - English Composition (unless you've placed out of it) and a First-Year Seminar. Beyond those two courses, think about courses that advance you in an area related to your academic interests or help you explore your options in the curriculum. We urge you to not fill your fall roster with required courses to "get them out of the way." There's no rush to complete the distribution requirements, and they are not onerous anyway. Exploring and developing your interests should be your priority now.
