Business Sample Schedule

As a College of Business student in the BS in Business and Economics degree program, you must enroll in certain course requirements during your first year.

Please refer to the College of Business Class of 2023 – Fall 2019 Course Registration Packet included in your Lehigh University Welcome Kit for details regarding your registration for fall.  A copy of this Packet is also posted to your First-Year Portal. Please review these materials carefully before you participate in online registration in July.

Below are two sample schedules for a first-year student in the BS in Business and Economics degree program. Given your unique background (SAT/ACT scores, AP exam scores, transfer credit, etc.), your schedule may or may not be the same. Please refer to the College of Business Class of 2023 – Fall 2019 Course Registration Packet to build a schedule that best suits your needs.

Note that most first-year students in the BS in Business and Economics degree program take a math course (either MATH 000: Preparation for Calculus, MATH 081: Calculus with Business Applications, or MATH 021: Calculus I) in their first semester at Lehigh. Students who bring in Calculus AP credit to fulfill the calculus requirement for their degree also have the option of continuing math study. Your academic advisor will review your record and email you a recommendation for your math placement in June, including whether or not you will be required to take a calculus placement exam called ALEKS in July to inform your fall registration. Please check your email to be sure you receive your recommendation before you register for courses in July.

If you have any questions about BS in Business and Economics curriculum requirements before or during registration in July, please contact your academic advisor directly or email our business advising team at businessadvising@lehigh.edu.  You are also welcome to call us at 610.758.3400 to schedule an appointment with your advisor – in person, by phone, or videochat. Additional details about how to schedule an appointment with your advisor are available on the First-Year Portal.

If a section of a course is full during the online registration period in July, please register for another open section of the course, even if it is not your preferred time. We cannot go above the course enrollment limit in a section of a course if there are other open sections available.
