Transfer Credit Process
Incoming first-year students who completed college-level coursework while still in high school may be eligible to receive college credit for those courses. Students who completed courses through dual enrollment programs must complete the First-Year Approval of Transfer Credit form to begin the process and determine transfer eligibility. Credit for courses completed through high school dual enrollment programs will be evaluated for transfer credit only if the course is regularly offered by an accredited two-year or four-year college or university and a majority of the students in the course were candidates for a degree at that college or university.
If your coursework is eligible for evaluation for possible transfer credit, you must provide an official transcript from the previous institution and course descriptions or syllabi for referral to the appropriate Lehigh academic department for review. Only courses with grades of C or higher are eligible for transfer evaluation. Official transcripts should be sent to:
- Login to Banner via connect.lehigh.edu
- After selecting Banner, choose:
- Student Services tab
- Student Academic Records
- Academic Transcript
- Set the Transcript Level to “All Levels” and the Transcript Type to “Advising”. Click submit.
- If your credit has been posted, you will see a list of all transfer credit that has been accepted by Lehigh University
