Transfer Credit Process
Incoming first-year students who took college-level coursework while still in high school may be eligible to receive college credit for those courses. Students should complete the Freshman Transfer Credit Petition form to begin the process. Only courses that are a part of the college/university's regular college-level curriculum and taught by a member of the college/university faculty are eligible for transfer credit to Lehigh.
After completing the form and submitting to the college or university where you were enrolled in course(s), you should also request that an official transcript be sent to Lehigh from the college or university if you have already completed the course(s). Only grades of C or better are eligible for transfer. Official transcripts should be sent to:
Office of the Registrar
27 Memorial Drive West
Bethlehem, PA 18015
Electronic transcripts are also accepted if sent directly from the college or university. Those should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For additional details about transfer credit, please review the Transfer Credit section of the University Catalog.
